The Tarot

Ra claimed to have visited the ancient Egyptians in an effort to assist in their development. Other sixth density entities have had similar missions in other parts of the world. Ra indicated that the message of these missions was ultimately corrupted by the humans they were designed to help.

One of the tools Ra used to assist in the development of the ancient Egyptians was the Tarot. The 22 Major Arcana cards of the Tarot were created by Ra to help the ancient Egyptians gain further knowledge of the self and thereby assist them in the process of achieving polarization. They attempt to represent archetypes that exist deep in the root of the mind and to describe the mind's basic architecture.

The 22 Major Arcana are divided into 3 categories each with 7 subcategories. Plus there is an additional archetype card that stands on its own. The 3 categories are Mind, Body, and Spirit. The 7 subcategories within each category are: Matrix, Potentiator, Catalyst, Experience, Significator, Transformation, and the Great Way. The 22nd archetype is the Choice.

The Matrix and the Potentiator archetypes represent two aspects that can be used to balance Catalyst. The Experience archetype represents the most efficient tool for growth. The Significator archetype represents the most capable nature for growth.

These archetypes provide the framework on which you can build but the specifics are unique to each individual. When studying the Tarot, precision is not the goal. Rather, focus on the quality of your perception of each general concept. Synthesizing the understanding you gain from studying these archetypes can lead to transformation through the exercise of free will.

1 – Matrix of the Mind: The Magician

The Matrix of the Mind can be understood as the conscious mind. It is represented by the Magician in the Tarot perhaps because the self-conscious being is full of the magic of what is possible. By itself the conscious mind is unmoving but, when potentiated, it is the activator of all mind activity.

2 – Potentiator of the Mind: The High Priestess

The Potentiator of the Mind can be understood as intuition, which comes from the subconscious mind. This is the reservoir from which the conscious mind draws in order to create, ideate, and become more self-conscious.

3 – Catalyst of the Mind: The Empress

Catalyst arises from the use of the subconscious portion of the mind by the conscious portion of the mind. It is represented by nobility in the Tarot because the subconscious mind is ennobled by its use by the conscious mind.

4 – Experience of the Mind: The Emperor

Experience ensues through the use of catalyst that has been processed by the potentiated consciousness. It is represented by nobility in the Tarot because the use of the vast resources of the subconscious mind ennobles the conscious mind.

5 – Significator of the Mind: The Hierophant

The Significator of the Mind represents the will to know, but on its own it does not know what to do with its knowledge or the reasons why it seeks it.

6 – Transformation of the Mind: The Two Paths

The novice is transformed by the need to choose between the light and the dark in the mind.

7 – Great Way of the Mind: The Chariot

The Great Way of the Mind is the summation of the first six archetypes. It shows the fruits of appropriate travel through the mind in that it continues to move nobly through the material it conceives. The adept whose consciousness has been disciplined by their will and by faith will come to realize the infinite nature of consciousness and may ultimately contact intelligent infinity directly.

8 – Matrix of the Body: The Balance

The Matrix of the Body is characterized by unrestricted motion and is the mirror or reflection of the stillness of the Matrix of the Mind. It is represented by the Balance because it can be understood as the even functioning or balanced working of the body. The Matrix of the Body is always active with no means of being inactive.

9 – Potentiator of the Body: The Sage or Wisdom

The Potentiator of the Body represents that which, being informed, regulates activity. It is represented as Wisdom or the Sage because it is only through your judgment that the unceasing activities and proclivities of the body can be experienced in useful ways.

10 – Catalyst of the Body: The Wheel of Fortune

The Catalyst of the Body represents outside stimulus to the body which can be either positive or negative in nature.

11 – Experience of the Body: The Enchantress

The Experience of the Body represents the growth that can result from the processing of catalyst.

12 – Significator of the Body: The Hanged Man or Martyr

The Significator of the Body represents the body’s ability to perform actions. It is only through the vehicle of the body that the mind body spirit complex can perform actions.

13 – Transformation of the Body: Death

Each awakening from a nighttime of sleep offers an opportunity to use catalyst for transformation. Beyond that, the natural act of dying offers the individual an opportunity to be reborn to a higher vibrational level (however this does not apply to those who take their own life).

14 – Great Way of the Body: The Alchemist

The body is a reflection of the Mind and is the instrument for manifesting the fruits of the mind and the spirit. Therefore the Great Way of the Body is represented by the Alchemist because the body can be seen as the furnace through which the Alchemist manifests gold.

15 – Matrix of the Spirit: The Devil

The energies and movements of the spirit are profound yet, because of the spirit's close association with time-space, these are not characterized by dynamic motion. Because of this, the spirit is seen as the deepest darkness. Here the adept is working with hidden things that can be illuminated by either the sun or the moon. The light of the sun is successfully grasped by few whereas the majority grope in the light of the moon, which can both illuminate and deceive. Because of this, the Matrix of the Spirit can seem to be of a negative or evil nature as the progress of many becomes a confused path as they attempt to utilize catalyst of the spirit.

The Matrix of the Spirit can also be thought of as evil because the adept is one who has freed himself or herself from the constraints of the thoughts and opinions of others. This is a necessary part of awakening. Those who have not achieved this freedom tend to view this as evil or bad.

16 – Potentiator of the Spirit: The Lightning Struck Tower

The Potentiator of the Spirit is the sudden awakening, illumination, and generative influence of light on the spirit. This fiery light can be thought of as lightning because of its potential power. This has been further refined to be represented as the Lightning Struck Tower.

17 – Catalyst of the Spirit: The Star of Hope

Use of Catalyst of the Spirit is based on hope and faith. The adept chooses the catalyst they will use to illuminate their spirit depending on their polarization.

As the adept illuminates their spirit there is a change in their attitude towards other selves. This change is often perceived as polarization toward the "service to self" path because of the disassociation from other selves that results from illumination. For those on the "service to self" path, this is a true disassociation with other selves. For those on the "service to others" path, this disassociation happens because they begin to associate with the hearts of other selves while disassociating themselves from their illusory outer shells as these prevent the adept from perceiving the self and other selves as one.

18 – Experience of the Spirit: The Moon

The Experience of the Spirit represents the manifest influences on the polarity of the adept. For those oriented toward service to others, even the darkest and most unhappy experiences of the spirit which catalyst produces can be worked through until the adept experiences the brightest light of day. Those oriented toward service to self are content with the shadows and, perceiving the light of day, turn away preferring the darkness.

19 – Significator of the Spirit: The Sun

The Significator of the Spirit is that living entity which takes the love/light coming from the universal source and either radiates it out to others or absorbs it into itself, depending on the polarization of the adept.

20 – Transformation of the Spirit: The Sarcophagus

The Transformation of the Spirit represents the material world which is transformed by the spirit into that which is infinite and eternal. There are many things that fall away as the infinite nature of the spirit is realized and the spirit is transformed.

21 – Great Way of the Spirit: The Universe

The spirit is a shuttle through which the adept calls on the universal source for his or her power. The Great Way of the Spirit represents this drawing upon the intelligent energy which flows from the intelligent infinity source. Accessing intelligent energy provides the adept with the power to build, heal, remove, and destroy aspects of the self, all of which ultimately transforms the self.

22 – The Choice: The Fool

A necessary task in our evolutionary journey up through the densities is the choice of which path to follow, "service to others" or "service to self".

A Plan for the Study of the 22 Tarot Archetypes

The Major Arcana represent archetypes that exist deep within the mind. They are accessed by the conscious mind through the higher levels of the subconscious mind. The mind can then use these insights to inform thoughts which will have a bearing on the mind, body, and spirit. And while it can be helpful to examine the relationships of one archetype to another, understanding these relationships is secondary to the vision that is provided to your intellectual and intuitive mind through the investigation of each archetype by itself.

Nonetheless, when beginning the study of the 22 Major Arcana of the Tarot, it can be helpful to begin by examining the relationships that exist between the mind, body, and spirit archetypes of the same position or classification within each octave (for example, viewing the Matrix cards 1, 8 and 15 together). This will help you discover, at least in a tentative way, fundamental relationships that exist between mind, body and spirit.

Once you begin to grasp these relationships you can next view the cards of each octave in the following pairings: Matrix and Potentiator, Catalyst and Experience, Significator and the Choice (each Significator is paired with the Choice), and Transformation and the Great Way. This will enable you to grasp more deeply the qualities of each archetype.
